Practice Sessions:Training Days take place at Thriftwood Scout Camp and are held by Stuart Matthews, if you are a new rider it is the perfect oppurtunity to try the sport out and to hone your skills, dont worry if you dont have a bike either as Onza have kindly provided two bikes to lend out on training days. (Just let Stuart know if you'd like to borrow these bikes before you arrive.)
A fee of £2.40 from each rider is now required for each practice session we have at Thriftwood, this is to pay to the scouts for the use of their land. Any queries please don't hesitate to contact me.

Next Training Day
Having just about recovered from the London Marathon, training will return at Thriftwood on Sunday 20th April from 10am to 12pm. We will meet at the top car park by the reception hut as usual.
Some dates of future competitions you may be interested in;-
27th April 2008 - First round of the 2008 British BikeTrial Championship at Kelly Farm, Lustleigh, Devon (see attached entry form). This is a great venue and a good chance to get used to riding on rocks. It would be good to see lots of EBTC members riding there. Quite a few have already entered and will be booking bed and breakfast in the area.
31st May -1st June - European BikeTrial Championship in Aywaille, Belgium. Again it would be good to see a number of our club riders riding and representing the UK in this Championship. If you don't fancy riding then it will also be a chance to see the top European riders in action. Most of us will be travelling over by car as the venue isn't too far away. If you require more information please contact Brian Matthews brianandada@hotmail.co.uk and see the European BikeTrial Union website at www.eurobiketrial.com
8th June 2008 - Brentwood town centre arena trial/display. It would be nice to have between 25-30 riders of all abilities. We will be building man-made sections on the morning and will need plenty of help to put them together. We will then have an arena-style competition for riders of all abilities. There will also be plenty of time to practise and show off your skills to the spectators and there will also be a chance for the public to try some bikes. More details about this event will be published nearer the time.
